Alice Laloy’s creative process leans toward a research-based theatre where puppets, materials, machines, actors, and sound compositions intersect in the service of poetic writing.
Alice Laloy seeks a language. She writes through staging. Her approach is nourished by a dialogue between a concrete, practical logic—cultivated through “tinkering”—and a mental logic of “daydreaming” that evolves through free associations. Her theatre is populated with images.
With the performers and materials she gathers, she strives to make these visual sensations tangible, following a logic that belongs to the world she orchestrates. In her work, everything is transformation, metamorphosis—both visual and sonic.

ALICE LALOY
Alice Laloy graduated from the 32nd class (1998–2001) of the Théâtre National de Strasbourg school, specializing in scenography and costume design.
During her studies at the TNS, Alice Laloy discovered puppetry and began questioning this alternative approach to theatre. In 2002, she founded the company s’Appelle Reviens to further her research, alongside her work as a scenographer and costume designer.
